After numerous requests, we are excited to introduce the new Libeco Auburn Linen Coverlet inspired by Libeco’s Belgian Towels. This design features a similar construction but is slightly heavier, offering a more substantial feel.

Libeco crafts this coverlet with a center seam and finishes it with fringe at the top and bottom. The sides are left unhemmed, showcasing the natural selvage edge. The simple yet elegant design features navy and bronze stripes set against an ecru background.

Made from 100% linen, this coverlet boasts a washed finish and a weight of 13.7 oz/yd² (460 g/m²), providing both durability and comfort. Libeco, the maker of this coverlet, is a zero-waste company that uses all parts of the flax plant in production. Their commitment to sustainability ensures that nothing goes to waste, making this coverlet as eco-friendly as it is stylish.

The process of creating linen begins with the flax plant, which grows over three feet tall in just 100 days. After its brief flowering period, farmers harvest and dry the stems, allowing the fibers to be extracted and spun into yarn. Libeco then weaves this yarn into the luxurious linen fabric that defines this beautiful, sustainable coverlet.
