Obasan Classic Organic Latex Mattress
The Obasan Classic organic mattress features a firm base layer and a customizable middle latex core. For the top layer, the soft latex topper will reduce surface pressure points. Finally, this mattress includes a separate wool topper for comfort and support.
Features of the Obasan Classic Organic Mattress
- The bottom 2″ support layer is firm.
- Then, the center 4″ layers run from head to toe and are customizable by zone.
- Finally, a 2-inch soft top finishes the mattress to reduce surface pressure points.
- To finish it off, this mattress includes a 1″ organic wool topper for pressure point relief.
- This mattress is excellent for adults of all builds.
- You may customize Queen and King sizes by side.
Materials
- GOTS-certified organic cotton jersey cover quilted with 900g of soft, pure organic wool — reducing pressure points and regulating body temperature.
- Obasan wraps each latex layer in organic cotton to reduce friction between layers.
- All Obasan organic mattresses pass the flame test in Canada and the USA.
CARE of the Obasan Classic Mattress
- Place your mattress on an Obasan foundation or an equivalent solid wood slat base. The slats should measure between 1 and 4 inches wide and be a maximum of 3 inches apart. All Double, Queen, King, and Cal. King mattresses should have a middle support.
- Protect your mattress with an Obasan mattress protector or something equivalent.
- Do not install the mattress directly on the floor or a solid platform.
- Do not allow the mattress to get wet.
- Do not wash any components of the mattress.
- Unzip the mattress’s outer cover for spot cleaning. Gently scrub with light soap and very little water. Air dry.
- Air removable cover seasonally.
- Do not place the mattress in direct sunlight or near a direct heat source.
- Flip the inner cores every 6 months to extend the lifespan of your mattress.
- The mattress cover is not washable.
