The mattress starts with an 8″ thick all natural latex core encased in chemical-free French wool quilted to soft outer jacquard woven fabric made with premium long-staple cotton. The 8″ core begins with a 6″ firm latex core, and to this core is added a 2″ medium latex layer to give a more plush feel. This latex core is mold and dust-mite resistant.
The chemical-free French wool surrounding the latex core wicks away moisture and helps regulate temperature. It also provides a natural flame barrier, eliminating the need for chemical flame retardants. The wool is pre-compressed to eliminate further compression.
